FST 7 – Fascia Stretch Training – What is it?
FST 7 or Fascia Stretch Training is a workout program created by world-renowned trainer Hany Rambod, FST 7 is one of the most successful physique transformation programs ever created. Now you might ask, how can I back that up? Well FST 7 has helped various fitness freaks, from amateurs to the professional elite that have repeatedly won national, international and Olympia titles. There is no question that with using the FST 7 program, you will see dramatic results
The Magnificent 7
The 7 in FST 7 refers to the seven sets that you will perform as the final exercise for a specific body part. These are one detail of a full program designed to achieve maximal hormonal response and muscle hypertrophy.
Bigger muscle leads to greater strength potential which allows for greater loads to be moved. What’s more is the increased metabolic demands and metabolites such as lactate from FST 7 training may result in increased production of anabolic hormones. All of this put together is what separates FST 7 from many other training systems.
Which machines should I use?
Machines and cables are a great choice for FST 7 as well as free weights, such as barbell curls and skull crushers. Make sure to perform your “seven set” at the end of the workout for that muscle group. The stimulation and pumps are insane but FST 7 doesn’t stop there.
The goal is to bring as many vitamins, minerals, amino acids, blood, oxygen, etc. into the muscle and stretch the fascia surrounding it to help encourage maximal muscle growth. This is where nutrition and supplementation become a critical factor for physique acceleration. In turn, the fascia is the limiting factor for achieving muscle growth because the muscle will grow only as much as there is room for it to do so. This training system is targeted at stretching the fascia allowing more room for muscle growth.
How does this affect me?
Well, as you might have heard before, I refer to some of my body parts as a “weak” muscle. Some muscles, due to previous injury are not as great as what I would like them to be. This program helps me strengthen them quickly. I use the FST 7 system mainly when training shoulders and certain sections of my legs. I also am starting to add the FST 7 system to Ab workouts
But what are the results?
Numerous bodybuilders and physique athletes use the program because of the rapid results you will see. But, and this is a big BUT, specially for beginners, this program is designed to work you. You will be sore, you will be taken to your limits. You might feel like you are going to break and it will definitely test your commitment. The results however will speak for themselves, just by looking at Jeremy Buendia and the Rock you will understand.
