Vitamin C Gummy bears – How to get fit recipe
Our home made Vitamin C gummy bears are made from real foods that are high in Vitamin C and nutrients. Check out how to make Vitamin C gummy bears on our youtube channel, or see the recipe below.
- 1½ cups juiced oranges. (4 – 5 medium sized oranges)
- 50 grams plain gelatine
- 2 tablespoons raw honey
- 1 tablespoon Vitamin C powder
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (this is optional)
- Juice your oranges and pour juice into a saucepan. Sprinkle the gelatine over the top and let sit for a couple of minutes. Let the gelatine dissolve properly. When all the gelatine is absorbed, whisk to combine.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat on the stove. Warm thoroughly to dissolve the gelatine but don’t let it boil. This takes 3-5 minutes.
- Add the honey and if using, the vanilla extract and vitamin c powder. Whisk thoroughly.
- Pour into your molds or loaf pan and refrigerate for about 2-3 hours.
- Remove from molds. If you used the loaf pan, cut your gelatine into small squares.
- Store in the refrigerator- they will last 2-3 weeks.
